Nutrition Pregnancy Package

Evidence is showing more and more that everything you eat when pregnant can have a positive or negative impact on the baby. As an expert in the field, I have made this my passion. Knowing how much of an impact there is on the baby's intelligence, health and many other outcomes, there is determination to get the word out on how important this topic is. This will include one prenatal visit for every trimester where I will review specific needs for that specific developmental period in your baby's life. One postpartum visit where it shifts from pregnancy to breastfeeding and dietetics. There will also be one 5 month’s old visit, I will prepare you for baby's first foods, how to prevent allergies, how to introduce foods, and recipes for making baby food at home.

Breastfeeding Package
While breastfeeding is natural, it also can be hard to achieve your goal without the right support. This includes one prenatal class on breastfeeding to prepare you for the bumps in the road, a hospital visit to aid with first latch, three postpartum visits to monitor weight gain and establish a strong breastfeeding experience. This includes help with latch difficulty, nipple pain, milk supply issues, slow weight gain, making a plan to pump for returning to work, tongue tie, etc.

Birth and Postpartum Doula Package
There are many ways to give birth as there are women in the world. The word "doula" comes from the ancient Greek meaning, "a woman who serves" and is now used to refer to a trained and experienced professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to the mother before, during, and during the postpartum period. Birth Doula A growing number of expectant parents are discovering that hiring a professional doula has been found to improve birth outcomes, decrease labor time, and increase a woman's satisfaction with her birth experience. Doulas integrate themselves in the larger birth team, act as an objective resource and sounding board for the woman's informed decision making, and provide a source of confidence, comfort, and strength in reserve. Doula's role is to encourage and unfold your distinct birthing style while offering complimentary suggestions and information. Offer balanced information about the risks and benefits of procedures so that you can make well-informed decisions about what is right for you. This includes two prenatal visits to prepare for your birth, discuss concerns and past experiences, phone and email support, assistance in cresting a birth plan, On-Call period from 38 weeks until baby arrives, complete assistance throughout labor until 1-2 hours after birth, and postpartum visits.

Postpartum Doula
In many cultures, the first 6 weeks or more after birth are considered a  sacred time. Great care is given to the mother as she is honored for her remarkable achievement of bringing life into the world, and time and space is given to the couple so that they develop a strong foundation as parents. As with pregnancy and the birth process itself, the postpartum period is also a time of profound change, growth, and adjustment. It is with this same respect and regard for this transitional time that we offer postpartum doula services to clients.
